The best judge of your health is you. Living with obesity is just one aspect of health. You can live with overweight or obesity, and still be healthy. But it is also a fact that the risc for health issues increase with a higher BMI.
Many people who live with obesity, share the experience that the medical profession tend to focus only on their weight when they seek medical care. Others are focused on their own weight, and the idea that if they could only loose weight, everything else would be fine. But many people that live with obesity also have other health issues. The other health issues can be a ground for obesity, or a consequence of obesity, or both.
